LINESIZE does not recalculate after setting layout options or changing printers.
The default behavior for SAS® software is to recalculate the LINESIZE value if options are set that cause a change in page layout or printer information. Currently, the LINESIZE does not recalculate, and you should do so manually.
For instance, if you change the page ORIENTATION from PORTRAIT to LANDSCAPE, the LINESIZE remains the same value. To change the LINESIZE value, include an OPTIONS LINESIZE statement after the change in a manner that is similar to the following example:
options orientation=landscape ls=100 ps=100;
